Okay so I think I can speak on behalf of probably the entire freaking population and say that Red Bull's Project X is crazy! Red Bull never fails to disappoint and they sure know how to come out for their athletes.

Little background knowledge: Red Bull is one of the sponsors of this snowboarder you may known, he goes by the name Shaun White. Heard of him? Yeah, I thought you might have. Well what Red Bull did was they came up with this idea to build Shaun White his own private half-pipe nicely tucked into a mountain in Silverton, Colorado. I came across this video that I just had to share.

What Education?

So what brings me back to blogging you ask, the age old question, "Will I ever apply my education to my job"? I would like to think the answer is "yes" but in reality we all know the answer is "no". The more people I talk to, the more I hear about how they only really apply 10% of their education to their everyday jobs.

This leads me to my next question, why do we stress over our major if we never REALLY apply it? All summer I've been debating (with myself of course) of what to major in. It's not like I have a million options, six really, but doesn't this decision affect the rest of my life? See, I want to get it right the first time so I can be done with school when we all graduate. Plus, nobody wants to regret what they took in University, right?

We all need to ask ourselves the more complicated version of that 5th grade question, "what do you want to be when you grow up"? Now its more like, "what do you want to do with your life"? You want my answer, well so do I! I have a lot more contemplating to do before I can answer that question for myself.

I may not have gone to the theaters to see this one, but nonetheless, I saw it and I liked it!

Overall, I give it 4/5.

As every other classic cartoon movie, there is a happy ending to this one. Up is a funny and heart warming movie that's story is fresh and exciting. The adventure of Carl, Russell, Doug, and Kevin are a sight to see but maybe not for all in theaters.

Final Verdict: I wouldn't spend 12 bucks seeing this one in theaters (either enjoy it on your couch now (online) or catch on DVD).

Terminator Salvation

Alright, I've started my June off by watching the last May release on my list!

Overall, I give it 4.75/5.

If you are a Terminator fan then I believe you should be satisfied with this edition to the series. The story just about seems to pick up where it ended off. The action is robotically impressive and the depth to the characters is signature to it's originals. Christian Bale plays a driven John Connor and I got to give it to Sam Worthington (Marcus Wright) for playing an emotionally confused yet convincing character.

Final Verdict: See it in theaters and add it to your DVD collection!

Angels & Demons

Up next, Angels & Demons.

Overall, I give it 3.8/5.

First downfall, there are points in the movie where I wanted to fall asleep. I read the book and loved it but the movie, as usual, falls a little short of expectation. Overall, the movie is a greatly visual representation of the story. If you are an appreciator of art, history, and religion then you will enjoy this movie. Second downfall, Angels & Demons wasn't as action packed and thrilling as The Da Vinci Code.

Final Verdict: See it in theaters for the architecture but wait for DVD Release if you don't care about that stuff.

Star Trek

Up next, Star Trek.

Overall, I give it a 5/5!

Yup, that's right, a perfect score! Trust me, I wasn't a huge Star Trek fan to start with but this movie has got me hooked. I loved how quick it was to pick up! It's action packed from the start to the very end. The story is seamless; it never lags, the comic relief is perfect, and the characters are brilliant.

Final Verdict: Run to see it (in IMAX, if possible!)

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

First up, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Overall, I give it a 3.5/5.

The action of Wolverine is there but at the same time, I could have waited until DVD release. The story-line is mediocre and the fact that I already know the story of Wolverine from the previous X-Men's sort of leads to disappointment.

Final Verdict: Wait for DVD Release.

When Your Parents Try To Sing...

Every now and then, I like to walk around singing a song and I mean, I think I can sing in tune! And then I wonder to myself every time I hear my parents "singing"... 20-30 years from now, will I sound as out of tune and horrible as my parents do?

So, when my parents try to sing, I can only imagine what I may sound like when I'm their age. Something else that gets the better of my brain, when I am my parents age, will the music I listen to now sounds like "useless noise" to me?

UEFA Champs League Sadness!

For anyone who follows soccer, the UEFA Champions League games were going on and the match ups were so exciting. Liverpool vs. Chelsea and Barca vs. Bayern. So tell me how both my teams lose! I was so incredibly disappointed!

Liverpool vs. Chelsea: 1-3

Barca vs. Bayern: 4-0 (not even one goal, COME ON!)

I know Liverpool has is together in the EPL but I mean, Bayern is just slacking all together. Come one boys, give me a good game!

Okay, so I just had to take a picture of this. Let me set the scene! I'm walking back to my car at school and the first thing I see is an Audi A4 parked beside me. I think, "It's an A4 but its still an Audi. Nice!" Then I take a closer look and what do I see, SPRAY PAINTED RIMS! I mean, look for yourself and tell me if "real" rims would look like this...my bet is, it wouldn't! I couldn't believe someone would own an Audi and then spray paint their rims.

I know Audi's are expensive on maintenance but are you kidding?

I guess not! LMAO!

Okay, so I'm a secret High School Musical Fan but I mean I know I would never go as far as to display my liking for HSM like this!

I think something needs to be put into perspective...I'M IN UNIVERSITY! I don't even want to imagine what year this person is in!

1. You didn't have money to buy a "normal" lock or this was lying around the house because of a younger sibling or

2. You are a uber High School Musical fan.

Walking Around Lonely Hearted

Okay so maybe lonely isn't the best word to describe how I'm feeling today.

So, it begins with the fact that perhaps I feel like I have a lonely heart.

Recently, my close friends have all been finding relationships and getting their hearts involved in more than just cardiovascular exercise! They are either getting back together with old lovers or finding new ones and that leaves me asking...what about me?

It's a question that gets asked all to often by men and women of all ages; "Will I ever find love?"

All this leaves me asking myself, am I ever going to experience a relationship? Am I ever going to fall in love? Will anyone ever love me? Am I appealing enough for anyone?

I know the classic answer for those who know me; "Of course someone will like you, you're an amazing person and anyone would be lucky to get you."

So why haven't they gotten me yet.

I'm so tired of watching people find such a desirable level of happiness. It really does hurt when people ask for advice and then they complain because they really don't know what they have. It is such an honor to be accepted, respected, held, comforted, kissed, and loved by someone that's not your family or friends.

Is it entirely wrong to be jealous of those around me who are happy and in or finding relationships? Is it wrong that I feel that if I changed, someone would love me? I mean clearly this version of me isn't working out. Or is it?

Today I was erasing some old text messages and I came across a somewhat strange yet funny conversation that I thought I would share. So, I was texting my friend to ask her if she was at school yet (or so I thought). When I got to class, I sat down and found out, I had the wrong number. No big deal right? Well, half way through class, the "friend" I texted, messaged me back saying, "it is dillon mom". I know, strange. So when I was cleaning my phone today, one question came to mind? Would I reply if someone texted me by mistake? Then I thought, what if it was a personal (sexy) message? One Word: Awkward!

I Should Have Taken A Picture of That!

So this morning I was sitting with my computer open, listening to music, waiting for class to start. Then, one of my friends comes up to me and say, "look what I got for breakfast, McDonalds!!!" So he is pulling out his pancakes and all I see is syrup oozing out of the container. I asked him why there was syrup coming out from EVERYWHERE and he tells me that he wanted to eat it in the car but his mom said, "No eating in my car". So he eats his syrup drenched breakfast (pancakes, milk box, and toy = covered in syrup!), and then attempts to clean up his mess. Let's just say, the table is probably still sticky! Now I think to myself, "I should have taken a picture of that!"

I have loved and adored the UFC for years now and I don't know how but I only recently discovered great video. If you ever want to kill time (hours) and entertain yourself, go to YouTube and then go to the UFC Channel and watch Dana Whites blog videos. One word. Hilarious!

For those who don't know what UFC is, its Mixed Martial Arts fighting. If you're not into UFC, perhaps you want to skip this one!

Side Note: GSP does damage! My all-time favourite fighter.
